The aim of the game is to beat the dealer to 21 without going ‘bust’. Each player is dealt two cards face up and the dealer is dealt one. Players are then asked in turn if they would like another card. Go over 21 and you bust, higher than the dealer you win! All pictures cards count as 10 and Aces count as 1 or 11. All other cards count as face value, the highest hand being an Ace and a Ten dealt with the first two cards – Blackjack! This is paid at 3/2, all other winning bets are paid at even money.
